- disengaged /dɪsəŋˈgeɪʤd/
- freelance /ˈfri:lɑ:ns/
Be careful with:
- you don’t have to (do yoga) – not an obligation; vs. you shouldn’t (do yoga) – not a good idea
- even (to introduce a surprising example) vs also (to introduce another example)
- Alex is working hard and Carmen is also working hard (both are working hard – nothing surprising here!)
- Alex is working hard and even Carmen is working hard (implies Carmen is lazy and only does this because there’s no other option!)
- she vs he (some gender confusion happening here!)
